Late RaviKumar

Late Ravi Kumar, aged 27 years who has the honor of being among five mountaineers from Uttar Pradesh who have conquered Mt. Everest. Ravi was born on June 21, 1990, to Sri Harkesh Singh, a Railway employee and Smt. Taradevi in a small village called Bhola Singh Ki Milak in Moradabad District, U.P. Right from childhood, Ravi was deeply inclined towards adventure and activities requiring gallantry.

He was a keen observer and the hard work of tiny ants caught his attention as a child. This motivated him to embrace a life of perseverance and strong-willed adventures. His passion for mountaineering was born out of this motivation which he sustained throughout his life. Ravi started as a Scout Guide while he studied at the ChitraGupt Inter College, Moradabad. He graduated in Arts from Mahatma Jyotiba Phule University in 2011. Ravi completed his specialized training in mountaineering from the states of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh & West Bengal.
